Weddings...

One of my best friends recently got married abroad about two weeks ago!  Unfortunately due to work commitments, I was not able to make it.  When she was in town a couple months ago we threw her a little impromptu bridal shower super last minute and I was extremely pleased with the results!  We decided to go with a white and silver colored scheme with pink flowers all around.

This was our "dessert" table, even though it turned out mainly to be a decor table.  I LOVED it!

We all pitched in and decided to get her this pair of heels as her wedding gift.
She loved them, her reaction was priceless!

Goodbye 2013!

When New Years comes around, it's the perfect time to bring out everything sparkly in your wardrobe.  And since I seem to be attracted to anything with glitter I have a ton of things that sparkle...  Anyways, I can't believe its already 2014! Hope everyone had a safe and fun New Years.

Pink & Glitter, the perfect combination!

As you know by now, I do love a statement necklace.

These are OTT.  But my friend convinced me that I had to buy them.

My Christmas Wish List

It's almost December, which means Christmas is only a couple weeks away.  This also means my online shopping addiction is at its max with all the sales going on.  I thought I would compile a little list of some of the things I have been lusting after.

Christmas Wish List

What have you been lusting after for this Holiday season?

Neck Party

These past couple months have been extremely busy for me.  I've been meaning to post something for a while, but everything just keeps getting in the way.  Last weekend I went to Half Moon Bay to visit friends.  If you live close I would definitely recommend visiting!  I'm so excited for this next weekend, I'll be traveling to LA to meet up with some of my really good friends.

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!

Half Moon Bay, California at the Ritz Carlton.

Forget about arm parties, its all about the neck party! Top from J Crew.

Went to the Opera with Z which was AMAZING. Gave me an excuse to bring out these bad boys.

Shopping Fever

This past week, I braved the crazy traffic and tourists for a major shopping trip to Union Square, in San Francisco.  I've been on a craze to get more clothes and especially shoes that are work appropriate as 90% of my shoes are definitley NOT.  I think it is safe to assume I had a successful trip if you see some of the photos below.  I also can not believe August is almost over!

The damage from the first day of shopping this past week.

Some of my latest shoe buys which are "work" appropriate.

OBSESSED with this necklace from J. Crew.

Glitter Shoes

Life has been extremely busy these last couple weeks.  Work has just been crazy, but I thought I would post about something that makes me happy, shoes.  My mother bought these shoes for me to wear to work, I love how casual they look, but once you turn them over glitter galore.  Business in the front, party in the back. It's when I get shoes like this, that makes me wish I store my shoes in boxes not on shelves, as the Miu Miu boxes are gorgeous! Hope everyone had a fabulous week!

Ps. To anyone who celebrates Eid, hope your Eid was amazing!

Photoshoot Galore

Whenever my friends and I get together we also seem to have impromtu photoshoots in the most random locations.  And since I am a shoe person, when we take photos they have to be in the frame! Usually the photos are awful, but our shoes always look amazing.

Photo session that occurred during our recent LA trip.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Fireworks Finale

I've been quite busy the past few weeks with different events and activities that seem to have finally culminated last week with the 4th of July.

One of my favorite things that I was dedicating the majority of my time to was my friend's wedding. The whole thing was very bittersweet because, although I'm so excited and happy for her to start on this new journey in life, I'm sad to see her leave as she is moving from California to New York to be with her husband. But taking a cue from M, I've now come to realize that having a friend move away isn't all bad, as it makes for a great opportunity to travel and visit them!

I hope everyone had a sparkling 4th of July!

I love these weeping willow type fireworks. July 4th; San Francisco, California.

Summer Time

July, the best month ever, is officially here and what I think of as the start of summer.  Warm weather, BBQ's, beaches, and fireworks are just some of the things I'm looking forward to.  BUT I am praying I wont burn to death in the heat wave that is invading my city right now. [It was 109°F today!]

To everyone in the States, hope you all have a great fourth of July!

I love a good statement necklace.

Girls Night. Plus you get to see my TF's in action.  I'm OBSESSED!

Finally it's Friday.

This week has been crazy busy.  When I get the time to just sit down and do nothing, I savor it.  Aside from that, this weekend one of my best friends leaves the States for good, which is bittersweet.  [I secretly pray it's only temporarily.]  The only good thing is I will definitely have to visit her and I love any excuse to travel!

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.

From our LA trip.  Z relaxing by the pool.  I love this picture.

Just ordered three shoes today from the Zara sale, I have no idea where I am going to fit them on my shoe shelves. [Some of my recent shoe purchases.]

My friend's sister made this delicious cake.  [P do you recognize the cupcake stand? I put it to good use.]

I love how we subconsciously matched each other this day. @ Norma's in NYC

Shoes

I confess that I have a little bit of a shoe problem. I even told myself that I need to refrain from buying anymore shoes, but when I saw these beauties I HAD to purchase them.  (I'm sure you all understand what I mean.)

There is a spot about 50 minutes from San Francisco that has some great designer finds, in fact I have purchased quite a few shoes from this same spot.  The funny thing about these shoes is that I had seen them a couple months ago.  I was so close to purchasing them, but they lost the battle to some Charlotte Olympia shoes.  When I saw them yesterday, on even more of a discount I could not leave without them.

Say hello to my two new best friends.  Tom and Ford

GORGEOUS, I know right! You now understand why I could not leave without them.  They are perfect! And I have to confess the best part was that they were over $1000 off!  I make myself a little jealous even just saying that.
