La Dolce Vita

I am an unashamed museum nerd. Everything from natural history to modern art interests me, but generally results in bordom for others. So when I learned that the de Young museum in San Francisco had an exhibit featuring 150 of the most gorgeous pieces created by the illustrious jeweler, Bulgari, I knew this would a perfect opportunity to combine a girls night with a museum visit.

The exhibit, The Art of Bulgari: La Dolce Vita & Beyond, 1950-1990 featured a number of notable pieces owned by my all time favorite Hollywood icon, Eliazabeth Taylor. The woman might have had questionable taste in men, but her taste in jewels is undeniable. I highly recommend visiting this exhibit before it ends, its an absolute feast for the eyes!
