San Francisco may not epitomize the quintessential California image, but it really does have a charm of its own. The Palace of Fine Arts is one of my favorite spots in the city, perfect for a picnic or nice stroll, the structure takes obvious inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman architecture and I fall more in love with it every time I visit.
Its a nice place to get away from the usual city surroundings and experience a sense of escape. Sometimes a casual catch up with a friend is made more charming in unique places like this. Do you have an oasis that you just love to go to get away from it all?
